Albert Kieper was born on August 25, 1862 in Rebean, Pommern, Germany. His parents were Johannas Kieper and Charlotte Sylvester.
Albert emigrated to the United States and landed at the port of New York on or about the month of September in 1882.
He married Anna Brietzmann on January 29, 1892 in Florence, Wisconsin. Their attendants at the marriage were Matilda Schmidt, Augusta Litzke, John Friling, and August Litzke. They had nine children who were as follows: Edward, Minnie, Alama, William, Evalina, Edna, Esther, Helene, and Walter.
His occupation was pumpman at the Verona Mining Company. He resided in the Baltic Location of Gaastra, Michigan in Iron County.
Albert Kieper died on the morning of June 3, 1924 at 8:30 A.M. at his home. He died of acite heart failure and he was 61 years old at his death. The attending physician was Dr. Lockhart. Albert was buried on June 7, 1924 at Stambaugh Cemetery, Stambaugh Michigan. He was later moved to Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana.
